This tongue-in-cheek class will address ten steps every outdoor photographer can take to make their images worse. The ten topics we will cover to make sure your images are horrible are: 1) Make Sure You Always Take Your Image from the Exact Same Position; 2) Never, Ever Read Your Camera’s Manual; 3) Work Hard to Ignore the Edges of Your Image when Composing; 4) Only Take a Couple of Shots of Each Subject or Scene; 5) Whatever You Do, Don’t Take a Photography Class, Workshop or Go Out with a Pro; 6) Try Your Best to Imitate the Style(s) of Other Photographer(s); 7) Don’t Ever Worry about Shutter Speed, Using a Tripod, or other Forms of Stability; 8) Never Move Your Autofocus Point or Change Your Autofocus Mode; 9) Ignore Post-Processing, You Don’t Need It; and 10) Always Leave Your Camera in Auto or Program Mode.

It is necessary for a photographer of any skill level, to constantly be working on and honing their creativity, post-processing skills, understanding of their equipment, utilizing the best practices for stability, and constantly learning from other photographers.
