Costa Rica . . .

Costa Rica is known worldwide for the diversity of animal and plant life that inhabit it’s borders. Poison Dart Frogs, primates, birds, spiders, and so much more provide photographic opportunities from sunrise to sunset and all night long! Over 800 species of birds, and of that over 50 species of hummingbirds, have been recorded in Costa Rica. To say Costa Rica is a bird photographer’s paradise is a major understatement. The joy of being immersed in such flora and fauna on a daily basis will lead you to want to visit Costa Rica time and time again.

Toucans, barbets, tanagers, guans, hummingbirds, oropendolas, and warblers provide a rainbow of colors with a backdrop of beautiful foliage. Red-eyed Tree Frogs, katydids, ants, flowers, and butterflies will have you grabbing your macro lens regularly. These images bely a bevy of colors that are dazzling and saturated, a palette of photos that will certainly please the pickiest of photographers.
