Welcome to Big Bend Birding & Photo Tours! I will be offering birding, photography, and general nature tours, as well as, photography workshops focused on the night sky, wildlife, macro, and landscape photography. Big Bend National Park and the surrounding region is vast and for the typical traveler to the area, how do you know where to even begin looking for that special bird species or find just the right location to capture that special image. I can help! With over 30 years experience exploring the area and watching the wildlife, I can get you to the right spot at the right time!

I am now booking for tours beginning on October 1, 2018. Unlike many nature guides, we will be able to accommodate groups up to 12 in size and provide transportation in and around the park. Our 12 passenger Ford Transit van is designed with the birder and photographer in mind! Ample storage space for your gear, usb plugs for charging phones, AC power to charge your camera batteries, and more will make your day(s) easy to focus on what you want to enjoy!

In addition to this exciting news, we met with wildlife cinematographer Skip Hobbie to discuss his upcoming show focusing on the wildlife of Big Bend National Park! He shared that funding has been secured and it will be a PBS Nature show! I will be working with him in a variety of ways including scouting, animal wrangling, and much more! Stay tuned for more exciting information. Skip is an amazing cinematographer and it was a pleasure getting to meet him.
